Public Enemies Film Premiere London

Here are a few of the pictures from yesterdays trip to London for the premiere of Johnny Depp's new film, Public Enemies, which opens in cinemas tomorrow. Overall, I took over 250 photos of the event thanks to good old multi-shot, but here are the best =]

The Empire Cinema in London, location of the Premiere.

Johnny Depp, and the wall of Paparazzi.

Leading actress, Marion Cotillard, in her incredible red dress.

Despite the amazing dress Marion is wearing, it does appear to be clashing with the carpet. Sorry love.

GMTVs Jenni Falconer.

New Moon (upcoming sequal to Twilight) actor Jamie Campbell Bower, who is to play Volturi leader Caius, being interviewed on the Red Carpet.

Sugababe, Amelle Berrabah.

Red carpet

Me and my terrific girlfriend are currently on the red carpet for the new Public Enemies film with Christian Bale and Johnny Depp. Ahhhh!

Words

It's 3am, and I've shed so many thoughts into phrases. My introspection, expended. My solutions sound like slogans. And these keys, eroded =]
Time to recharge, restock, and repair.

3 Hours Sleep

About to go teach a huge number of kids in Tamworth. One more coffee, then I'm off. Pro plus has now been upgraded to my greatest friend.

Horses! You must hold them!

I am currently in the middle of making a little video of bands from Download for each day. And this is being posted from iGoogle, how swish!?

The crispy masses

Well pour some sugar on me, it's the last day.

It's finally reached the last day. After some of the best performances i have ever seen, some of the most unhealthy food my diet has had to endure, and one pretty burnt neck, the festival is winding up. The atmosphere is relaxed, the sun is still baking, and the music has come over all 80s. The biggest bonus of today is im no longer alone, i have my dad =] currently enjoying Journey, i'll post more later, along with even more videos and pictures. Toodles.

Faith No More - Poker Face!

I was lucky to actually capture this, but here is Faith No More from Friday, opening Chinese Arithmetic with Poker Face by Lady Gaga.

SWARMMM!

It seems fightstar have managed to incur the wrath of nature. As soon as they just finished their set on the 2nd stage, a swarm descended on the crowd. Millions of flying insects are still hovering above us. So i did what anyone else would do during a biblical plague. I took pictures =]

Faith No More - Easy - Download Festival 2009

Phenomenal...

KoRn have just left the main stage of Download Festival after a blistering set. Finishing with Got The Life, then into a truly stunning rendition of Pink Floyds Another Brick In The Wall. I was contemplating seeing KoRn again after seeing them so many times, but they never fail to impress. Next up, the band EVERYONE wants to see, Faith No More!

Sing alongs...

Killswitch engage for you =]

The test

Time for SEO jargon. The question is, can the combining of youtube, and mobile blogging of live events, effect traffic through improved google indexation speed?

Wish You Were Here.

2 down. 7 to go.

Hollywood Undead and The Blackout have just finished playing on the main stage. For crowd attendance and sheer energy, im afraid Hollywood won that one. Expect many videos and pictures at the end of the night. I sincerely hope my 12gb of memory lasts. For camera buffs, im using a Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ28.

And so it begins!

Iv just arrived. Bands aren't due to start for another 30 minutes. The sun is absolutely blistering, so time to work on my tan. Well, a tan =] First up, Hollywood Undead.

Download Baby!

About to set off for Download Festival 2009. I'm going armed with my camera, so expect many a video etc every night when I get back. Good old blogger. And if anything awesome happens while I'm there, expect a blog from my phone. Toodles =]

On The Mend

After a couple of days of hobbling like a pro, I thought it was about time to test the leg in the gym. First impressions, it's definitely improved. Although after 10 minutes on the bike at a very past pace, it was starting to ache, I do think by tomorrow I'll be back in the pool and resuming training.
What made me think I still needed a couple of days is that while doing some simple bending, like lying down to do some crunches, it still felt raw. But to heal this much in a couple of days, I'm impressed =]

Chris Paines - M.I.A (Mangled in Action)

The best laid plans of mice and martial artists often go awry. I was training last night and during one of my many sparring sessions, I took a MEAN blow to the knee, which was mostly my fault, unfortunately.
I did manage to carry on till the end of the session, to such a standard that I didn't lose another fight, even if I was on one leg. But it has put a real kybosh on my training regime. Even walking is an absolute chore right now. There isn't any bruising to speak of, but the area has swollen up quite noticeably. It's the top of my knee, away from the bone and more on the muscle. Still doesn't stop it from f**king hurting!

So now my nutrition and training programme has done an about face and I have had to reevaluate my goals. Obviously my heart and mind has been set on the fight in a months time, and it still is, except the road has changed.
For the rest of today, I'll be keeping my knee elevated and iced. Well, I say ice, I really mean Deep Freeze Spray. I bought some a couple weeks ago for just such an occasion, and it works surprisingly well I have found. It's been at least an hour, and it still feels a little cold.
Along with the freezing spray, my best friend Solpadeine Migraine has been making an appearance. Every injury I have suffered so far, these little miracles have kept me going. Today is no different.
Tomorrow, on the other hand, will be a different story. Out with the Deep Freeze, in with the Deep Heat. I wanna make sure I flood the area with blood and take as many nutrients as I can, especially Vitamin C and Protein. This is a wound, and needs healing.
When the pain has subsided to a certain amount, I'll restart swimming to put the muscle into use again and by this time next week, I should be back on form and training for the fight.

Watch this space....

New Shorts, No Shoes, No Service

I am really finding my feet now with my submission wrestling. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed training this much. My new shorts arrived from the US over the weekend and the quality is astounding. Expect a review and comparison soon, once I've used and abused them enough.

A new competition has also been sent my way, giving me another reason to train my arse off yet again. About to dash to swimming so expect more info on that later. So excited XD
